SYNOPSIS

Tainted Bites is a gripping short documentary that uncovers the invisible danger of microplastics infiltrating the island’s marine life—and eventually, our own bodies. Journeying from the open sea to bustling fish markets, the film features local fishermen, leading researchers, a medical expert, and an ocean activist. Together, they reveal how plastic waste is silently entering the food chain, affecting both human health and traditional livelihoods.
